Can anyone help me find out a newsgroup or website to help me pick out a DVD
recorder to convert my old VHS and Hi-8 Camcorder videos to DVD?

digitalfaq.com is very good source to understand what you need to be able to
capture and burn to DVD. I use a capture card so not sure what they have on
recorders but the basic info will help no matter what else you do.
